Island Excavating Corp. has prospered since its inception in 1987. It began
with two employees, a small dump truck, backhoe and bulldozer. Since, the
company has grown every year. It now has over 45 pieces of equipment and
many full-time employees with additional work force during the peak
construction season. The company has branched out of Grand Isle County since
1987 and has completed many commercial and residential projects throughout
Chittenden and Franklin counties.
The company has established an excellent reputation with many general
contractors, home owners and engineers. It is known for its quality
workmanship, expertise in performing varied and sometimes unique projects
